The Doug Trangsrud Memorial Golf Tournament returns for its 9th year on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at The Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN. This annual tournament brings together community members, partners, and supporters for a great day of golf, connection, and shared purpose. The event honors the life of Doug Trangsrud, a beloved husband, father, and friend whose generosity continues to leave a lasting impact. Doug’s son, John, is part of MAC Midwest’s story, and this tournament remains a meaningful way to celebrate that connection while supporting individuals and families navigating autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. As MAC Midwest celebrates 30 years of service, this event reflects both where we have been and where we are going. Today, we provide coordinated care across assessment, therapy, and ongoing support, helping individuals build skills, confidence, and independence at every stage. The schedule of events for the tournament is as follows: 10:00 am: Check-in and registration. Driving range and putting green open 11:45 am: Collect your box lunch before heading to your cart 12:00 pm: Shotgun start. Please be in your carts by 11:50 am 4:00 – 4:30 pm: Social hour and silent auction continues 5:00 – 5:15 pm: Buffet dinner begins 5:20 pm: Silent auction closes 5:30 – 5:45 pm: MAC presentation followed by door prize raffle Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year, this tournament is a chance to be part of something bigger, a community committed to progress, connection, and supporting one another.
